This time includes consultation, assessment, personalised treatment plan, an opportunity to ask questions, administration of anti-wrinkle injection and aftercare advice.
Course or one off treatment?
3 months
You will feel the benefits of this treatment immediately, but when the vitamin leaves your system after 3 months you may wish to get it topped up. This may not be necessary in summer.
Results in
2-3 days
Most people will feel the improvement within just a few days. Absorption of the vitamin from an injection is much quicker than when it is taken in tablet form.
Recovery time
Nil
This is a very simple injection and there is no recover time. You may have a small ache in the muscle for a few hours, but it shouldn't interfere with your normal activities.
Duration of results
3 months
Most people feel the results from this injection will last around 12 weeks. However, if you are suffering from a genuine vitamin D deficiency you may need to supplement it with oral medication.
Treatments per year
1 - 4
If this treatment is just to supplement your levels without a formal diagnosis of vitamin D deficiency then an annual injection maybe enough to see you through the winter months. If you have a deficiency you may feel the benefit of a quarterly vitamin boost.
