It evaluates cholesterol and triglycerides, which play a critical role in heart health. 6 biomarkers - Total Cholesterol - LDL Cholesterol - Non HDL Cholesterol - HDL Cholesterol - Total Cholesterol: HDL - Triglycerides Why it’s done - Assess Heart Disease Risk: Helps identify high cholesterol or triglyceride levels that increase cardiovascular risk. - Monitor Treatment: Evaluates the effectiveness of cholesterol-lowering treatments like statins or lifestyle changes. - Detect Metabolic Disorders: Such as diabetes or metabolic syndrome.
