Course or one off treatment?
One off
The length this treatment lasts varies from patient to patient but we would typically expect it to last a minimum of 3 months before symptoms start to recur.
Results in
14 days
The toxin works slowly and doesn't reach its full potential for 14 days. You will not see a significant difference overnight, it will be a series of small, gradual improvements.
Recovery time
0
There is no down time from this procedure. The injection sites may be red for a small amount of time, but this normally resolves very quickly.
Duration of results
3-4 months
If you are new to toxins your first treatment may only last for around 12 weeks, however if you continue to have the area treated the results will continue to improve and will last longer.
Treatments per year
2 / 3
Initially treatment will be every 3-4 months, but most regular users of anti-wrinkle injections find that their results continue to last and that they only need to have the area treated every 6 months or so.
When not to have toxin injections?
If you have a skin infection
If you’re unwell in any way
If you have a neuromuscular condition
If you’re taking certain medicines
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding
Aftercare for toxin injections
You will not feel a change straight away. It takes about 14 days to start working
Do not massage or rub your face for 3 days, or have a facial.
Avoid vigorous exercise, sunbathing (including using sun beds), and the sauna for 2 days.
Effects usually last for about 3 or 4 months. If you have botulinum toxin injections again, you should wait at least 12 weeks.
Possible side effects of botulinum toxin A injections for migraine?
The risks of receiving botulinum toxin injections are very small
when administered correctly by a suitably qualified practitioner (which we are).
You may experience redness, bruising or a small swelling at the injection site.
Some people may develop a headache and flu-like symptoms for the first 24 hours.
Uncommon side effects are:
Temporary drooping of an eyelid or eyebrow if the botulinum toxin moves into these muscles. This is extremely
unlikely as most of the injections are concentrated in the scalp and neck area, although treatment
does involve a small amount of toxin in the forehead.
Our toxin of choice has very little migration in comparison to others, so this is extremely unlikely.
Very rarely serious complications can occur, such as serious allergic reaction.
We are prepared to help you should this situation arise.

1000/10 would recommend this aesthetics. Had the 3 areas treatment and can already feel a difference. Explained all the procedure and process with me which made me less anxious. And was exceptionally amazing when I started to feel faint

Botulinum toxin A for migraine
The FDA approved the use of botulinum toxin A
injections for migraine in 2010. It is not a cure, but
does allows migraine sufferers to keep their headaches under control and regain their quality of life.
NHS treatment is currently offered to patients who have trialed and been unsuccessful with at least 3 preventative treatments, and patients have to meet a strict criteria. The requirements are that you have to suffer headaches on 15 days per month, 8 of which have to be full migraine.
Studies have shown that treatment considerably reduces that frequency of headaches and migraines, and that the more rounds of treatment a patient receives, the more effective it becomes.
